Oh. My. God. This was so bad. Okay, not as bad as 2012 (the movie, not the year), but it came close. Please tell me, why did I pay 13 EUR for this crap?
So I was listening to Alanis Morissette's re-recorded acoustic version of her first album the other day. And I always have to smile at this one particular line from her song "Ironic". And I had a silly Bomer moment this morning (okay, several), and came up with this.
Mozzie (my new vacuum cleaner) is awesome. So awesome, in fact, that he sucked the one unraveled thread from my carpet that fell victim to my dad using a drill on the carpet baseboard right out of where I had glued it back in. Gee, thanks. You suck. More literally than figuratively in this case.
After fangeeking out over it yesterday (in an f-locked manner, mind you), let me write a few more level-headed words about the James Patterson audio book, Toys. After having made it to track 11 on the first CD, I think I've overcome the initial squee of hearing Matt's voice and can now actually pay more attention to the story without being constantly distracted.
This is for the Collar slash Bomer fans on my flist. Something to brighten your morning. (If you've already seen it, I'm sure you won't mind seeing it again.)
So I couldn't resist and made a few icons. Okay, more than a few. Feel free to snag. Commenting would make my day, crediting = win, hotlinking is uncool and taking and claiming as your own is epic fail.
Where is everybody? Back to work? Post New-Year's depression? Recruited by Agent Burke for an undercover mission? Eaten by a sea monster? I mean, come on. I get two lousy comments for my latest drabble? Was it that bad? ;o)
No, seriously, I find that this week, things seem a lot quieter than around the holidays. Guess it really is because people are working again or back to school or whatever it is that they're doing that they haven't been doing between Christmas and New Year's.
No, wait, that should be: OMG, they killed Bryce! But, hey, the Bomer fans got a good workout from those seven Chuck episodes. Just as a quick tag to my previous entry, I especially enjoyed episode 2x22. Seeing Matt and Scott Bakula in the same scene made the sci-fi geek in me incredibly happy (*points at Starfleet_HQ banner in the sidebar * ==>). And Bruce Boxleitner was in this episode too! I had a few great squee and chuckle moments in this one. And that shall conclude the last entry in my journal for 2010. See you next year!
I promised hai_di I would write something, once I had seen Traveler. So I have. So I'm writing something. What can I say? I loved the show. I'm mad that ABC cancelled it after only eight episodes and left us hanging. And I didn't only love the show for Matt Bomer. The whole cast was great, and the plot grabbed me. I wouldn't have watched all eight episodes in two days otherwise. So now we'll never know what the plan was for these characters, if Tyler and Jay would ever go back to any kind of normal life and who exactly Freed is/was. A darn shame, if you ask me.
EDIT: nice_disguise pointed me to this that explains it all. Thumbs up to David DiGilio for posting that. Thank you!
Okay, I will admit it. I'm enamored with Matt Bomer ever since I discovered White Collar. Some might call it infatuation, some might call it fangirling. Whatever name it goes by, I'm enjoying the hell out of it. And, no, I'm not going to watch every single Matt Bomer project now. Just the ones that are easy to lay my hands on. Like... Flight Plan, for instance. (A friend of mine had the DVD and I borrowed it. See? Easy.)
