Life is a world of livable imperfections

Tell me, why is it that independent movies always have to make so darn sure that they have this artsy, indie vibe? A lot of indies could be so much better if they didn't try so hard to be different.
That said, I kinda liked Shooting Livien. But I also thought it was weird and disconnected. You could probably say I enjoyed watching it, but it could have been a much better movie if it hadn't been so darn choppy and all over the place. I also had the urge (and this rarely happens) to switch on the English subtitles during the movie. Mumble mumble mumble. Jason Behr, you have such a beautiful voice, so use it! I'm not gonna say anything about Dom Monaghan's accent, because, really, can the man speak anything other than Mancunian? I think not, and I'm waiting for the day where he'll prove me wrong.
On a fangirlier note, the movie had major Rrrrr potential. If you can look past the stringy and unkempt hair (and try not to imagine the constant stink of nicotine in the air), the Behr man was pretty damn droolworthy. I actually prefer him this way--with less muscles. Now, give me a mixture between Max Evans and John Livien, and I'd be as happy a camper as can be. Okay, enough drooling. Next?
Oh, uhm... VACATION!!!! Two weeks of leisurely bliss. Tomorrow I'm also meeting with
anaithis and
hai_di . That should be an awesome start into my time off. Free rock music to boot. What more can you wish for? So, bring it on, boys and girls!
