Snowflake Challenge - Day 4

I was super busy yesterday, so I didn't get to do Day 3, so let's continue with Day 4:

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts.

Well, that'll be easy, though it really doesn't make a whole lot of sense posting this in my own journal. I daresay most people who will read this don't know the fandoms I'm currently interested in, and those who do aren't interested in the same ships/characters or don't write for them at all. But I'm gonna post my wishlist anyway. You never know. :-)

1. Fanfic: Bomb Girls - Lorna/Bob or anything involving Bob (Bob/Edith?). Anything goes that's not NC-17. I actually posted a prompt request on AO3 the other day that's still up for grabs (Lorna stands by the window, watching the birds feeding on suet cakes outside in the bitter cold when Bob comes over to join her). Though what with how Bob behaved in episode 2x01 that aired on Wednesday, I can totally see how no one would want to write him right now.
2. Fanfic: ReGenesis - David!Whump, or even anything that's halfway David-centric. Again, NC-17 isn't quite my cup of tea. What I'd really love is some good old h/c. Maybe David has a cold or flu, or a stomach bug? But, hey, I'm not picky there either.

Those are really the things at the very top of my wish list right now. I'd be eternally grateful for anyone who would grant me one of those.

I'm working on some David!whump for you, because your participation in fandomsnowflake is making me rewatch ReGenesis. It might take me a bit, but I wanted you to know I was on the case :)

I hear you about Bob/Lorna. Usually the subtext of a movie scene or something that fans are very passionate about seeing (and it doesn't happen) could give birth to a plot bunny. However, the way the second episode unfolded, it kinda wrapped everything up, right? It felt really, really lovely but also somehow predictable and satisfying in a way. This is good, because I was really looking forward to this kind of conclusion between them, but it ended (at least for now) all the angst and it is the angst that makes fics get born :P I think it would have made more sense to find inspiration in e01's Bob when the viewers were anxious to find out how this fight would end, than e02.

Are there any other Bob/Lorna fics out there, btw? I think I haven't read anything else other than yours!

Yes, the second episode at least wrapped up the pregnancy storyline. There might still be some emotional fallout from that in the next episodes, who knows. I mean, we can't just expect Bob and Lorna to go back to normal, can we? And, yes, the spontaneous abortion was a little predictable. Didn't I already say it at the end of last season?

I'm not aware of any other Bob/Lorna fics out there. 95% of all fans active online are solely interested in the Betty/Kate ship, 4% are Lorna/Marco and 0.9% are Betty/Gladys. The 0.1% left is the two of us. :-P And what with Bob's behaviour in season 2, the majority of comments I read on Tumblr about Bob is very much anti-Bob. And I can't even blame them, you know?
