Television at its worst
May. 21st, 2012 07:20 pmSeriously, Shonda Rhimes? SERIOUSLY?!
Spoilers for the Grey's Anatomy finale to follow. Read on at your own discretion. But, man, was this bad, or what?
How often has it ever happened that a plane crashes and even one person survives? Tell me, what are the odds? And they seriously want any halfway intelligent viewer to believe that all but one of the passengers survived a fucking plane crash? You're effin' kidding me, right? This is plain ridiculous. I feel insulted.
I'm still watching it as I type this, and I feel a strong urge to fast forward through it. This has never happened with a Grey's episode for me. I mean, they've never prided themselves on writing believable stories, but this goes too far even in the grand scheme of primetime TV writing. I seriously hope they don't continue on this tangent next season, otherwise they might be losing me as an audience member. And I don't usually give up on TV shows easily.
In other news: I have a sore throat which I know is gonna turn into a full fledged cold. Yay me. This year isn't getting off to a great start. I've already been sick twice. What gives, 2012?
