Okay, this is kinda exciting cos I'm typing this on my brand new HTC. And, boy, is this tedious or what? The geek in me is kinda excited. But it's also annoying because I don't have the slightest clue what I'm doing...

Well, since I'm a touch typer, it's REALLY tedious to do this on a smartphone, but at least I know it works now. Yay for being able to post here when I'm on the road!

Oh, yeah, I know how frustrating it is to type on those things. I don't have a smart phone, but I have an iPod touch that I use a lot on the road...and, yup, more than a little tedious ('specially getting used to the iPod's love of auto-filling names 'n such wrongly).

Also, I've heard mixed things about the actual LJ app for smartphones, so I'll be curious how you like the other one you're trying out.

The two I've tried so far seem okay. But I haven't done much with them. I still prefer to do this on the computer, but it's great to know I can now also do it when I'm on the road.

Yeah, I think I've figured out most of the important stuff by now. Right now I'm trying to get it to sound the alarm clock, and the built-in thing just won't work for some reason. But I've installed an app now, that seems to work. Of course I still prefer a real computer to surf, but the smartphone will be great if there's no real computer nearby.
