Summary: Neal has a knack for getting into tricky situations. This one may just cost his life.
Author's Note: Oh my, another 100 worder. I could never do this in the past. Practice indeed helps. Didn't hit the 100 word mark right away this time, though.

Neal had never felt so cold in his life. The freezing water was everywhere. Now he knew what the saying 'chilled to the bone' really meant.
He could feel his strength ebbing, his movements became more sluggish. His frantic struggles to tread water were diminished by the mere physics of 40 degree water meeting 98 degree flesh.
Another con ending badly, and Neal almost let out a chuckle at the cynicism of it happening one too many times lately.
'I really need to find another line of work,' was one of the last things he thought before everything went black.
