Mozzie (my new vacuum cleaner) is awesome. So awesome, in fact, that he sucked the one unraveled thread from my carpet that fell victim to my dad using a drill on the carpet baseboard right out of where I had glued it back in. Gee, thanks. You suck. More literally than figuratively in this case.
Also, more on the Matt Bomer Has Eaten My Brain front. While I was ironing today, I watched the Matt Bomer video clips from the first season of Tru Calling that I found recently. The Luc Bomer (that's Luke with a C) is so different from the Neal Bomer. Which, from an acting POV, surely is a good thing, but now I'm not sure which one to like better. Maybe I'm not supposed to like any of them better. I think I liked the Luc Bomer's hair better. I dunno, I don't really like men with long hair. Or even long-ish hair. Then again, it's none of my effin' business to tell The Bomer how to wear his hair in the first place. But a fangirl can wish, right?
One of the highlights of my day (and this tells you just how sadly internet-dependent my life is), was reading a wonderful fanfic that was written specifically for a prompt I posted. Thank you again,
nefhiriel!
Another highlight surely was more catching up on X-Files with Steffi. We've made it through season 5. Whoohoo! No gag reel on the DVDs for that season, though. What a let-down. But, look at us, we actually cooked a meal today. From scratch. I'm so proud. It was yummy too. Pasta with shrimp, broccoli and carrots in a cream sauce. (Sound familiar, Fredo?) There's even leftovers for tomorrow.
My proud accomplishment of the week was legally purchasing the MP3s of the latest Daughtry album. I've also discovered Breaking Benjamin. I need an infusion of new rock music in my life. Bring on the headbanging. (Ouch. My brain hurts.)
Tomorrow will possibly (i.e. probably) consist of more X-Files watching and maybe, if we feel adventurous, a walk along the Rhine. Bring on the pollen assault. Spring is my enemy. And I'm all out of ammunition.

Date: 2011-03-27 03:06 am (UTC)I think Matt had really freakin' great hair in the pilot and haven't seen it that good before or since. But that might just be me.
A fellow Breaking Benjamin fan!? No way! What songs have you heard!!! :D

Date: 2011-03-27 07:21 am (UTC)In what pilot do you mean he had great hair? The Tru Calling or the White Collar pilot? (Hopefully not the latter, because I didn't quite like the WhiCo pilot hair.)
I have two BB albums now, Dear Agony and Phobia. I haven't listened to them all the way through yet, though. But I've put the CDs in the car, so I will. Never really listen much to music at home for some reason. I find it distracting when writing or reading fanfic or doing something on the computer that needs paying attention.
In other news: Gah! I forgot that we were changing to daylight saving time overnight. My alarm clock automatically changes, so I should have set it an hour later. Gnrmpf.

Date: 2011-03-27 01:44 pm (UTC)You cooked better than me. I just mixed up some Egg Beaters, onions, cheese and sausage, slapped it on a tortilla and smothered it with salsa and called it a day. Now that I've thought of it, I might have to do that for lunch later!
As for both Bomer on the Brain (we could call it BoB for short), I discovered that I have access to YouTube through my streaming box (Roku) and last night after the Butler/Florida game (Brad Stevens is a cutie too), I TV surfed through WC, Neal/Peter, Neal, Matt Bomer videos. I'd like to say I gorged myself, but I see that as meaning I couldn't watch more and that might not be possible. They are like Jello, always room for more!

Date: 2011-03-27 04:26 pm (UTC)Hab gerade von Deiner Kreislaufsache gelesen. Mensch, das ist ja 'n Ding. Ich hoffe, es geht wieder aufwärts. Drücke die Daumen, dass es morgen bei der Untersuchung gut läuft. Jetzt auf jeden Fall schonmal ganz viele Hugs! {{{{{

Date: 2011-03-27 04:30 pm (UTC)Quite frankly, I suck at cooking. I don't enjoy it much either. I'm more of a baking/dessert kind of person, but I only really do it when there's a reason (like birthday, visitors, party, etc.). We have a pretty good cafeteria at work, which is usually where I get my warm meals during the week.
I have a streaming box too (Western Digital) which can do YouTube (or was it my Blu-ray player?), but it's quite complicated without a real keyboard, so I think I'd prefer to do that on the computer. But any excuse to look at The Bomer works for me! :-P

Date: 2011-04-08 07:04 am (UTC)I mean White Collar, yes. I don't want it exactly the same, but I don't think he's got the sexy going on quite as much anymore.
I never bought by the albums, so I have no idea which songs you have. ;) But firefly is pretty awesome. And I will not bow is fantastic.
Oh dear :( lost an hour. *pats* On the bright side, I've only gotten to responding this over a week later, so you probably don't even care anymore. :D

Date: 2011-04-08 04:50 pm (UTC)Firefly actually isn't on any of the albums I have. I Will Not Bow is on the Dear Agony album. I like the other one a little better, though.
