• Waking up with a feeling but no recollection of having had a wildly entertraining dream - check
• Getting up after ignoring the alarm clock going off five times - check
• Feeling completely sluggish because of not having made it to bed before 1 AM for no reason - check
• Securing last night's White Collar episode before work for easy and fast access tonight - check
• Answering private e-mails and LJ comments while having breakfast - check
• Reading White Collar story posted especially for me at collarcorner - check
• Avoiding spoilers for White Collar episode 2x10 while checking LJ friend entries - check
• Reserving theater tickets for "Love and Other Drugs" for Saturday evening - check
• Geting annoyed at theater only showing movie at ungodly hours - check
• Listening to new Jem album discovered only last night on the way to work - check
• Arriving way late at work due to actions posted above - check
• Not giving a damn about arriving late at work - check
• Being relieved because of no one else giving a damn either - check
• Looking forward to lunch break already when it's only 10 AM - check
• Going to H and A's room to briefly squee about new White Collar ep tonight - check

TeeJay's To-Do List for Today

• Conjuring up motivation to get actual work done
• Not falling asleep during 90 minute CST telephone conference at 2
• Review shitload of rather dull documents due this week (and still go home at decent time)
• Making it through the day without major frustrations or fubars
• Going home at a decent time (i.e. ASAP) to watch new White Collar episode
• Going online after watching new White Collar episode to catch up with previously spoilery discussions
• Get some major squeeage out of two previous items
• Go to bed before midnight (yeah, don't really see that happening, but, well...)

LOL! Well, I'm a terrible procrastinator in the mornings, at least when it comes to things like getting read for work. I have the luxury of living close to work, only takes me 10 minutes to go there by car. So I take my time in the mornings. My routine is usually to make myself tea and a sandwich. While I eat it, I do some online stuff on my laptop. Is that sad? Probably. I don't care, though.

Lol! Ah now I see, I take about 45 minutes to get to the office and in the morning I can barely function. I have an auto-pilot to get dressed and eat breakfast, lol!

No, it's not sad :D If my brain could function enough to know how to turn on the computer I'd probably do the same :D I sometimes check LJ and read fic in the bus on my way to work on my cell, when the free wireless in the bus is working though :))

You know, sometimes I wish I was taking the train to work because with the short car ride, I don't get any more reading done. And when I'm home, usually the TV or computer are more appealing than a book. Don't get me wrong, I love books, and I love reading. I just don't seem to do it much anymore.

But I know what you mean! I have lots of books to read and I normally can only do it on the way to work or on my way home in the bus. But now with internet on my cell I normally check LJ and read fic on it, so there goes the book reading...
