Hello 2011, can I go back to sleep now?
Jan. 1st, 2011 09:46 pm"Sky People do not see, they do not learn." Well, apparently I don't learn. Going to bed after 2 AM makes me sluggish and tired and just basically not functional the next day. I know this. And yet, here I am. Almost 4 AM is just too late to hit the sack. But I had a good reason. New Year's was spent jovially in great company. And even when I left there at around 3 AM, I didn't really want to go because we had such a good time.
Thus, today I didn't get much done. Or anything, really. If you discount making a quick-and-dirty stir-fry out of leftovers and putting together an LJ icon and an outline for a White Collar fic I'm working on. And I'm not counting watching the AVATAR specials either.
I actually don't know why I didn't watch them earlier. I've had the damn Blu-ray for over a month now. The deleted scenes were excellent, and there's so many of them! It would be interesting to see a full version of the movie, as in the extended Blu-ray edition with the half-finished deleted scenes put in. How long would that be? Like, four hours? Wow.
I also watched the first behind-the-scenes thing on the second disc. I'm not sure how long that was, but it was loooooong. Over an hour, definitely. Felt more like two, I didn't keep track. So now I only have, what? Five more hour of special features to watch? (Not today, though.)
Tomorrow is officially my last day off before it's back to the grind. I could get used to this. Though I guess it'll be good for me to have a reason to not be this lazy. Because, seriously, if I was any lazier, I'd be a brownstone brick. And I'm starting to feel guilty about it. What am I gonna tell my colleagues when they ask what I've been doing over Christmas? Uhm.... Watch TV shows, watch movies, go grocery shopping, do a bit of laundry and spend time in front of the computer for hours on end. Welcome to my life. I really need to get out more. Unfortunately, repeating it in written is not gonna make it so. This would be way more fun if I had a holodeck I could use...
PS:
anaithis, I will upload those pics from yesterday soon, hopefully tomorrow. I haven't even gotten them off the camera yet.

Date: 2011-01-02 07:45 pm (UTC)Den Teil von Uhm.... Watch TV shows, bis holodeck I could use... kann ich ohne Einschränkungen unterschreiben.. oijeh.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss.
So, und jetzt muss ich ins Bett. Adios!
