TV show finales and new furniture

Okay, so we've finally entered finale season. One season/series finale is hunting the next.
Lost was a big question mark, but maybe that's just as well. Grey's Anatomy went out with a bang, which I liked, even though it was totally over the top. But, hey, that's Grey's for you. I hated Private Practice, because I'm really fond of Dell. I don't think I can forgive them for killing him. I just hope it was Chris Lowell's choice. CSI: was kinda blah, though I enjoyed it more than most season 10 episodes. V 2009 was interesting, but nothing too special.
The ones I haven't seen yet are CSI: NY (which is on my agenda tonight) and FlashForward (which is gonna air in the US tonight). The latter should be interesting (and hopefully intense), but I already know I'm gonna end up hating it because we won't get a 2nd season and it's gonna be a cliffhanger. Darn you, ABC!
On a more real lifey note, I think I found a cupboard for my to-be flatscreen TV in some tiny, out-of-the-way furniture store in the middle of Cologne. It looked good online and I'm gonna look at it "in person" tomorrow evening. Let's hope I still like it when I've seen it. It's also affordable, and they'll deliver for free. What's not to like? I've also found a dining table I want, but that one's real pricey. Not sure I'm really gonna go for that one without looking further for something a little more in the price range I could live with.
On an even real lifier note, being sick is no fun. You tend to forget that when you haven't been sick in a while. I must have caught some kind of weird bug on the way back from Copenhagen. It all started with a killer sore throat on Tuesday morning. It developped into a fever with a splitting headache and real bad nausea towards the evening. I'm doing okay today (except for the remnants of a sore throat), but it's not an experience I want to repeat any time soon. Now I can empathize with people who suffer from migraines.
And while we're talking about Copenhagen, care to see pictures? I've also had my first experience with manual sensor cleaning today. Ever since Denmark, I've had this dark spot in all the photos, always in the same place, no matter which lens I used. So I figured there must dust on the sensor. The guy at the photo store I phoned today told me it was gonna cost 30 EUR if they cleaned it. So I figured, hey, why not try myself first (very carefully) before spending money on someone else doing what I might have been able to do myself?
And voilà, the dark spot is gone. All it took was the handbook of my camera and the hand-bellows I bought a while back for air mattresses and that kind of thing. (And apparently for cleaning SLR cameras as well.)
I'll leave you with an impression of the Isle of Møn in southern Denmark.
