Coincidences happen
They do. I just had a double coincidence. It still boggles my mind. It's kind of a complicated story to tell, but the short version is that I met two seemingly unrelated people that I'm not very close with in the same hotel in a city that is hundreds of miles away from all of our homes. And it wasn't a congress or meeting or anything. Just three people on unrelated business trips to Vienna. Staying in the same hotel. At the same time. (One of them was actually a guy I haven't seen since university some odd nine or ten years ago. The other guy was a former colleague of mine whom I don't seem more than once a year.)
What have we learned today? The pharma world is so small! There's also a German saying that goes: You always meet twice in life. Guess we just did, the university guy and I.
On a Prison Break-y side note, how did I miss that there was a two-hour wrap up episode??? I only just found out tonight! :-O Guess I have more to catch up on.
